I quite often roll and freeze them on trays, when frozen put them in zip locks or rubbermaid containers. Take them out and let them thaw, then dip.
Other times I have huge orders so I dip and box, wrap the box well in saran wrap and freeze. I very seldom have any crack when they thaw but if you're concerned you can thaw them in the fridge and they do great.
