I used white DH mix - just like it says on the package then added a half package of strawberry jello - mixed in with just a little hot water to dissolve it. For added WOW, you could purchase one of those frozen tubs of strawberries, defrost, blend and add in place of the water it calls for. I would blend well or large chunks of strawberries may sink to the bottom of the cake pan.

: I've tried 1 scratch and 1 doctored mix and neither had the WOW factor for me. Anyone have one they like?
