There are packages of custard fillings in most large cake stores but I wouldn't take a chance on anything that slippery - especially for a wedding cake. What I've found that tastes like custard but isn't slippery is white chocolate instant pudding made with both whole milk and heavy cream. Luscious.


: I have a request for a Custard filling for a wedding cake. I don't have a recipe for one, and wondered if any of you would happen to have one to share? I would prefer a "Safe" version if possible. Is there a canned kind that would be considered safe, and yet taste great? Thanks!
