: Hey all! I have discovered a really yummy recipie for margarita cake that I am going to use as cupcakes for a bridal shower. The thing is that I dont want to make a icing for the cupcakes because they have such a delicate flavor and I dont want to take away from that. Instead I want to fill them with a bit of lime curd then top each one with a light dusitng of powdered sugar and a candied lime slice. I have found tons of lime curd that I can buy but I want to make it myself. I have one recipe that sounds good but was wondering if anyone had a recipie that they felt was particularly yummy. Also, would adding just a couple of drops of neon green food color effect the curd?
