I'm confused by your request. You want the icing recipe but talk about the amount of flour in it????

This was a response to a request. I haven't made these myself but they do sound good. I am not sure how many these make. I just guessed 3 dozen.
36 cookies (change servings and units)
Change to: cookies US
Ingredients
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups sour cream
5-6 cups flour (until desired consistency for rolling)
Directions
1Cream together butter and sugar.
2Beat in eggs and sour cream.
3Mix in dry ingredients.
4Cover and refrigerate overnight.
5Preheat oven to 425ºF.
6Roll out dough to a 1/4 to 3/8 inch thickness using a generous amount of flour.
7Cut out shapes and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 8 minutes.
8Cool on wire rack.
9Frost and decorate as desired.
: I found this recipe it is supposed to be the original icing recipe for Loft House cookies. There are no directions only ingredients can anyone tell me how I should make this icing. The egg has me stumped.
1 pkg Powdered sugar, 1 egg, 1 can condensed milk ( for spreading, 1 tsp. shortening, 1 tsp butter. My daughters 16th birthday is tomorrow and I would like to be able to make her favorite cookies for her party. They also posted the cookie recipe but I think the others had finally figured out the amounts for the flour. All the other ingredients were listed correctly. Thank you.
