You could start with a white or yellow mix, doctor to your preference, and add the mini chips...reserve a couple tablespoons of the dry cake mix to coat the chips with before adding to the batter should help them to stay suspended in the batter and not all sink to the bottom.
How about a reverse chip cake...chocolate mix with white chips?
: I have never made a chocolate chip cake before, and I have to make one for next month. I use a lot of box mixes, and doctor them up. Is there a box mix that's chocolate chip out there? If not, can I just use a white box mix & add chocolate chips? Any help would be great! Thanks!
