Here's a great recipe. It's actually petty 4 icing, but works great for cookies, It dries hard enough to stack the cookies, but not rock hard and unpleasant to eat. put 1 1/2 lbs of 10X sugar in a food processor. In a heat proof bowl, put 1/4 cup shortening, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 cup milk, 2 tbsp. corn syrup, and 2 tsp. clear flavoring. Nuke till all melted. Put processor on, add liquid slowly. Thin with a little water if needed. Colors beautifully! Sets up fast as well, HTH!: HELP! I have lost my favorite recipe that I used to decorate sugar cookies! The one I used to have I got off this board and was wonderful! The recipe I had made quite alot and used almond extract in it. Please, can anyone help me out by sharing their sugar cookie icing recipes with me? Thanks sooo much!!
